Children's AOHCM
Ambassadors of Holiness Children's Ministry (AoHCM pronounce 'awesome') is a ministry devoted in raising up children to know the Lord Jesus Christ for themselves and be fearless and yet humble. The Gospel of Luke chapter 1 verses 71 - 77 says, " . . . that we should have deliverance and be saved from our enemies and from the hand of all who detest and pursue us with hatred; to make true and show the mercy and compassion and kindness (promised) to our fathers and to remember and carry out His holy covenant, that covenant He sealed by oath to our father Abraham: 'to grant us that we, being delivered from the hand of our foes, might serve Him fearlessly in holiness and righteousness all the days of our lives'. And thou, little one(s), shall be called a prophet of the Most High; for you shall go on before the face of the Lord to make ready His way."
The ministry of AoHCM incorporates biblical truths in various different forms for their learning and development, these methods are conveyed through: skits, arts & crafts, interpretive praise ministry, singing, evangelism, and special events (outdoor activities such as camping, going to the park, etc). The majority of our children are baptized with biblical evidence in speaking in tongues; therefore, AoHCM is being trained to pray effectively and intercede on behalf of their generation. They are being taught on how to introduce their peers to the Lord Jesus Christ, to show compassion for those who are less fortunate, and how to listen and be led of the Holy Ghost.
TFT firmly believes in presenting wholesome teaching and training of the children so they could excel in their educational studies as well, sharpening their social and life skills through every day living as their example to bring about a well-balanced life as children. We emphasize the importance of parents/guardians being involved to ensure a more cohesive family-oriented atmosphere. The focus of our message is building a relationship with God through Jesus such as a child builds a relationship with their parent(s).
The age ranges from 2.5 years of age (potty-trained preferable) - 11 years old. On Sundays during intercessory prayer, a teacher will escort AoHCM to a room (separated from the adults) for children's church intercessory prayer unless otherwise summoned by Pastor. Effective January 2014, AoHCM was separated into two groups -- AoH Juniors and AoH Toddlers for a more comprehensive, hands-on teaching according to ages.
