Ask yourself these questions, “What are you saying? Saying to what? Saying about what?”. What are you saying to the things that are going on in your life and the world around you? If you can’t answer the question it’s because you’re not saying anything to what’s happening in your life or the world around you. Silence at times can be golden, but it can also be a sign of submission or agreement.
If you’re just taking in the events of life as they come without voicing a sense of purpose and direction, then you’re missing out on what Jesus intended for you. Paul says this, “and we know…” You can know something but still miss the opportunity to experience what you know. You must declare it. You must give it purpose. You must direct it. You must say to the “things” going on “you work together for my good.” You must say to all these “things” (including the devil) that torment your life, “I’m more than a conqueror” – translation, “the victory is yours.” You have victory over all – including death.
Because of Jesus you are ready for anything, equipped for everything, prepared for all things through Him who strengthens you. Right now you are being strengthened with all might and power by the Spirit of God in your spirit. The power is being released because we are sons and daughters of the Most High God and we are here to carry on the work that we’ve been assigned to. We are carriers of His glory and Presence and we cannot take that lightly. We are transporters of His power and might to set the captives free.
We have a message – The Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ which is also the Gospel of the Kingdom. As the Church we are to proclaim this message to the masses. In its simplest format it is summarized as, “And now let me remind you [since it seems to have escaped you], brethren, of the Gospel (the glad tidings of salvation) which I proclaimed to you, which you welcomed and accepted and upon which your faith rests, And by which you are saved, if you hold fast and keep firmly what I preached to you, unless you believed at first without effect and all for nothing. For I passed on to you first of all what I also had received, that Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for our sins in accordance with [what] the Scriptures [foretold], That He was buried, that He arose on the third day as the Scriptures foretold…” (I Cor 15:1-4 Amp).
This message, in its simplest format, packs the power of God unto salvation. It is the message that Jesus commits Himself to back up with signs to follow. It is the message that prepares the way to heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out devils, and cleanse the lepers. It is the message that breaks the power of sin and brings deliverance to the captives. It is the message that must be preached until the end of the Age. It is vitally important to continue to preach this message because the Holy Ghost warns us concerning the end times.
But the [Holy] Spirit distinctly and expressly declares that in latter times some will turn away from the faith, giving attention to deluding and seducing spirits and doctrines that demons teach, Through the hypocrisy and pretensions of liars whose consciences are seared (cauterized)…” (I Tim 4:1-2 Amp). With that kind of a warning from the Holy Ghost – Who cannot lie – we as the Church of the Living God must continue what began with Jesus, and the Apostles preaching repentance and believing in the Gospel. Mark says it well, “The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God…” (Mk 1:1 KJV). May our message be clear, concise, above reproach, and most of all, BIBLICALLY CORRECT, to the glory of God
