I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back. Phi 3:12-14(MSG)
As a wise man named Solomon said, the end of a thing is better than the beginning (see Eccl 7:8). And although 2013 was a challenging year, in the end it speaks of better things. As a ministry, TFT is known for its radical approach to the things of God. With high/loud praise, spontaneous shouts and amens, combative/militant intercessory prayer, and confrontational messages and exhortations, we’ve established quite a reputation in this Land. In our zeal to represent the Kingdom it’s caused some to turn away; and, I’m sure we may have offended one or two through the strength and determination to do things God’s way. On the other hand, we have those who have reached out to Facebook and other means to try and tarnish the work we are doing. If it were not for the scriptures, I would think we were on the wrong track; but, I find comfort in the scriptures – scriptures don’t lie!
All that being said, may the Father grant us forgiveness for our sins and shortcomings even as we forgive one another our trespasses against each other. May the love of God flood our hearts and souls as we position ourselves for another year of advancing His Kingdom in the earth. May we be more effective than last year, more hungry for Him than ever before, and more determined to reflect the light and life of Jesus as an individual and as His Church! Stronger than we’ve ever been – let’s rise and build – our time has come. Happy New Year 2014! We love you. Thank you for standing with us.
