Threshing Floor Tabernacle

 ^“How God anointed and consecrated Jesus of Nazareth with the [Holy] Spirit and with strength and ability and power; how He went about doing good and, in particular, curing all who were harassed and oppressed by [the power of] the devil, for God was with Him.” Act 10:38 AMP

Jesus was anointed with the Holy Ghost and Power! Jesus said, “But ye shall receive power, AFTER that the Holy Ghost is come UPON you (Act 1:8). First we receive the baptism with the Holy Ghost, then we get the Power. If we don’t receive the baptism with the Holy Ghost, we don’t get the Power. This is why so many believers are floating around (some doing good, some not) with no Power. Many end up mimicking the world in the name of the Lord. The initial evidence of the baptism with the Holy Ghost was not the wind, nor the fire, it was the new tongues that proceeded from their mouths. After that, Peter preached and Power followed.

Jesus was baptized with the Holy Ghost after he was baptized in the Jordan River. The Spirit descended upon Him “like” a dove. He received the Spirit without measure according to John chapter three, verse thirty-four. After that He went about to do. His target was those harassed and oppressed of the devil. He wanted to set them free that they might be saved and serve the One True and Living God. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever (Heb 13:8).

As we celebrate this Passover/Resurrection Season, be mindful of our Savior’s purpose which is to seek and save that which was/is lost (Lk 19:10). To save is to rescue, deliver, protect, heal and make whole – spirit, soul, and body. If you have Jesus, you truly have EVERYTHING you need. His words to you are these, “If ye abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you (Jn 15:7).”
