“So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing.” (I Cor 9:26 NLT)
We know or should know the Vision of TFT: 1) Preach and Teach the Gospel; 2) Build Up the Body of Christ; 3) Work the Works of God; and 4) Prepare for the Rapture. That last one can be controversial as to the event and timing of it. There are many teachings on the subject, nevertheless we, TFT, choose to believe we are NOT appointed unto God’s wrath but unto salvation (See I Thess 5:9). Everything centers on the Logos and Rhema of God’s Word.
The great honor we have in promoting and proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus is that we have been CHOSEN by God to bring this message of salvation, healing, and deliverance to this generation. The Gospel or Good News is the power of God at work to save every person that believes it. The simple message that Jesus the Messiah died for our sins according to the scriptures, was buried, and rose again the third day according to the scriptures is all sufficient to save every man, woman, boy, and girl that believes – including teenagers…. No other form of religion is superior to or equal to the Power of the Gospel. It is the only true message of salvation. (Read I Cor 15:1-4)
As the Church, we not only carry the message of salvation, but we have the responsibility of Building up the Body of Christ through Reconciliation and Edification. Reconciliation is bringing others to Christ, Edification is building them up in the faith through love, teaching, and admonishment; all the while strengthening them to have a victorious walk in Jesus. (Read II Cor 5:18-21; Eph 4:11-16)
Working the works of God is according to what Jesus said: “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues… they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following (Mk 16:17-18, 20). “Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent” (Jn 6:29); “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do;because I go unto my Father” (Jn 14:12).
Preparation for the Rapture is simple; living as, working as, and expecting the Lord at any moment. If we don’t hear the shout today (See I Thess 4:16), we will hear it tomorrow; it can happen at any time now – We’re Ready!!! (Read Mt 25:1-30; Lk 12:35-48; 19:11-27)
