"There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." (Pro. 14:12)
It is not in man (mankind) to do what is right without God. At best, man will do what is right in his own eyes and fall short of the Glory of God (Read Jer. 10:23 AMP.). Ways that seem right to a man are the ways of death according to the Word of God. We may embrace some degree of religious formats in our lives but unless we live on God’s terms according to His Word we are in for a rude awakening. We are taught to trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not to our own understanding but in all our ways ACKNOWLEDGE HIM and He will direct our paths (way of life Pro. 3:5-6). Life was never meant to live apart from God nor His ways.
The danger and peril of living apart from Him means living in darkness, governed by the fallen nature of humanity, under the power, sway and influence of demons, hostility towards God, and a destination of permanent separation and flames of eternal torment and torture. A biblical scholar once said, “Human nature needs more light than is found in the human conscience.” That light is the Life of Christ. This is not a sales pitch for church attendance or membership, it is an alarm to see the necessity of the Church in this hour. You must see that those two words are not just a request or command, they are IDENTITY! They’re not just something you do, it’s who you are!
The saying goes, “It’s always darkest before the dawn”, and there is a Spiritual Awakening on the horizon and is already taking place in the lives of many Christians and new converts that is once again re-shaping the landscape of society and humanity and piercing this present darkness (Eph. 6:12). Don’t be deceived by those who say the Church is not relevant or necessary anymore. That is the devil’s tactic to stem the tide of true Revival. The window of opportunity for the Church is at hand and we do well to Seize This Moment! The adversary will NEVER be able to stop the Church but he will do some gruesome things in order to strike fear, intimidation, and retreat in the heart of the Believer. But we must stand firm on the Word of God that the Righteous are as Bold as a Lion (see Pro. 28:1)!
Step Into It!
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places.” (Eph. 6:12 AMP)
