    The Outpouring

“And that’s just the beginning: After that—I will pour out my Spirit on every kind of people…” Joel 2:28 TMB
Praise the Risen Lord! Five days until “The Outpouring.”  The countdown has begun and we are as ready as we’ve ever been to host the Presence of God and the people He will send for an encounter with the Holy Ghost.  May the spirit of unity and excellence speak and prevail in everything we do. It’s not a one-man-show—we’re all in this together. I pray that your hearts are overflowing with excitement, anticipation, expectation, and appreciation for everything The Father is doing in our midst. Get ready for “The Outpour.”
When the Prophets of the Old Covenant spoke about the rain, it was in a time of drought (dry season) and the people were not doing well spiritually—But God was about to change things:
“We’re ready to study God, eager for God-knowledge. As sure as dawn breaks, so sure is his daily arrival. He comes as rain comes, as spring rain refreshing the ground.”
    Hosea 6:3 TMB
“Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.”
    Hosea 10:12 KJV
“Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: and also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.”
    Joel 2:23, 28-29 KJV
“Ask ye of the Lord rain in the time of the latter rain; so the Lord shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.” Zech 10:1 KJV
“And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the
spirit of grace and of supplications.” Zech 12:10 KJV
